The Green Circle
The Green Circle, Inc. owns a large portion of the farmland in the Northern section of Tearn (the NOC) and is currently buying up more. They are currently earning sizable profits which have been earned from selling the magically-enhanced (as in, enhanced to grow larger, not anything nefarious) crops grown from their farmland. Green Circle’s logic is that they want to protect nature and the untainted forests/plains as much as possible, so their approach is to minimize damages/minimize farmland. By making their farmlands as productive as possible, the Druids minimize the amount of total farmland needed to feed the people of the three nations (of Tearn, Altara, and Marak) and thus preserve the maximum amount of land to be untouched. It’s very common practice for Green Circle to buy up farmland from local farmers and leave it unfarmed, to be reclaimed by nature.
The true headquarters of Green Circle (where the Druids actually meet) are roughly in the middle of the Northern half of Tearn, and are surrounded by large (2 square acres) marijuana fields. However, the company has a fake headquarters set up in the middle tier of the city of Tearnyn; the reasoning behind this is that the middlemost tier is the most accessible to everyone. The logic of setting up a fake headquarters is that the company needs to present a professional-looking headquarters to any curious government officials and/or others (keep in mind that they use Druidic magic to enhance the crops, and sell these crops to the magic-phobic empire of Altara).
It should be noted that only the most high-ranked members of the Green Circle know about the Druidic magic within the organization and/or are part of said magic – the farmers, day-to-day operations employees, and the average person ALL think that the Green Circle is simply a very successful farming business/firm.
